Parents travelling abroad, applying for foreign citizenship for their children or immigrating are required to present an Unabridged Birth Certificate for each of their children.

International airlines as well as travel agencies have been quite active in informing their prospective passengers about the new requirements which came into effect in June of 2015, however it is the parents responsibility to ensure that they have these important documents when travelling abroad as airlines will not even allow a child to board their planes if a valid Unabridged Birth Certificate is not presented for each child.
